Riley Update

Base for Riley's incredibly pale porcelain skin. The dark undertones will barely show this much in the end but I had to get it there to smooth out my colors. I'd like to move forward but I've learned from other paintings that I shouldn't do the hair until ALL the rest of the person is done.

A rose by any other name...

Ok - this is not a good project until the doc prescribes some kosher drugs for the arthritis. I made this as a thank you to one of my co-workers, hope she likes it.

Oh, for the first time I've added the leaves. That was a bitch!

Boo is done!

Here is the Syra progress - her coloring for some reason is giving me a hard time. I know in the end she'll be great, right now, I curse my paintbrush!

Syra Update

I got ahead of myself. I began to feel rambunctious, so I started in on Syra's coloring. Found out soon how much of a no-no that was. I'm much happier with my mountains though. Time for another week of 'dry time'.
